Our Background
An idea formed out of the relentless challenge of professional international tournament rugby and the 2019 World Cup. One of our founder advisors Dr. Frank Dick OBE, working with the England Rugby Team identified the challenge of mental under recovery between tournament matches and how to address it.
This was just the light bulb moment!
We rapidly identified through discussions with senior police offers, 999 call handlers, armed response, child protection, A&E doctors and nurses how they have the recovery resilience challenge every day and none of the existing wellbeing style solutions were working for them!
This spurred us on to create Aroai Health and form a team of like minded, purpose driven individuals to create a solution in close collaboration with our users and for our users starting with the UK Police & NHS A&E. To help those people who quite literally hold our lives in their hands.

Our backgrounds include elite armed forces, the top of international professional sport competition and coaching, human performance physiology and psychology, law enforcement, mobile technology, Data Analytics & AI and leading academics.
